CWK CREW GUIDES THE WAY

Use the CWK Crew has a guide to your summer fun! The CWK Crew represents self-love, career exploration, character education and community service. If you keep in mind what the Crew stands for, your summer will be an adventurous, educational and rewarding experience.

1. Fill your summer with activities that promote love: to self and others.

*Continue to maintain and protect her beautiful tresses throughout the summer. Continuing her beauty routine will show her she is important.

*Give back to others, get involved in your community.

2. Research an out of the box career and create a moment for your daughter.

*The Alvin Ailey Dance troop is on tour, check to see if the wonderful dancers of color will be near you. This activity will cross two things off your list: exposure to an out of the box career and to beautiful people who look like her.

3. Make travelling an educational adventure. Parents you were your daughter's first teacher and you still are. Add teachable moments into your summer travels. Any destination can lead to a learning experience. Decide what your lesson will include: History/Culture- identify the historical features or eat authentic cuisine, Science- investigate habitats or climates. The important thing is to make it fun. Actually the best learning experiences occur when your naturalista doesn't even know it's happening.
